Credentials of Mark Hazlett,

President of Telecom Services of Iowa, Inc.

With over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Mark began his career in the original "Bell System" with Northwestern Bell. In 1984 he became the first Sales Manager hired in the original Teleconnect Company; and later became Director of Sales for the Telephone Systems Division of the Company.

Mark remained in the telecommunications industry after Teleconnect was sold to MCI, first as Director of Sales for Digital Communications; before accepting a position as an Account  Executive with Norstan Communications, selling large ROLM PBX and Iwatsu systems. Later along with long time friend and co-worker, the late Larry Brauer, Mark co-founded a company that provided  telecommunications equipment to small and mid-sized businesses in eastern Iowa. This company continues in business today.

In 2001 Mark founded Telecom Services of Iowa as a provider of Qwest services. He expanded the company in 2003 to include the sale, implementation and support of telephone system  equipment with the purchase of Business Telephones Interconnect, a decade old provider of system equipment. Telecom Services of Iowa, Inc. has since grown to become the  largest Samsung dealer in the state of Iowa.

Mark’s extensive experience in telecommunications has provided him with expertise in voice, VoIP, local, long distance and Internet connectivity solutions. More importantly, it has given him the expertise necessary to address the specific applications of each client with whom he works.
