TSIowa, a provider of business telephone systems, surveillance systems and other telecom services, has purchased Robinson Telecommunications, a long-time provider of telephone systems in northeastern Iowa, based in New Hampton.


TSI is available to help with ongoing customer service and support of the Robinson customer base and is available to help all of our customers address the telecommunication needs of their business.  

Founded in 1990 by two telephone system technicians under the name of Business Telephones Interconnect, their focus was upon providing the best, most affordable, service and support possible for their customers. Telecom Services of Iowa purchased their company in 2001 and continues to carry on this tradition today.

Telecom Services of Iowa is a provider of IP and digital telephone systems, surveillance systems and network infra-structure (voice, data and fiber optic cabling.)  With those products at its core, Telecom Services of Iowa shortened its name to TSIowa… representing Telecommunications, Surveillance and Infrastructure. 

TSIowa offers phone systems and surveillance systems ranging from a single camera to closed circuit TVs with sophisticated recording systems. We also offer paging systems, which can incorporate clock management systems for schools, Video Conferencing studios and other telecom related services, such as Headsets and SIP trunk services.

Having been a provider of Samsung telephone systems for over two decades, TSIowa now carries Panasonic and ESI telephone systems as well. Panasonic systems can be configured for IP or digital telephones and is a market leader in cordless solutions.

ESI is a premise-based IP system designed to support Cloud based SIP trunks making it an affordable, full-featured, alternative to Hosted services.
